This clear coat is designed for normal automotive exterior temperatures, but it is not rated as a high-temperature coating. We do not recommend it for exhaust components, headers, or other surfaces exposed to extreme heat. For those applications, use a dedicated high-temperature clear coat.

No, reducer is not required. Mix the clear coat and hardener at the specified 4:1 ratio. Reducer is optional and can be added in a small amount if you need better flow or leveling.
